Summer Internship: June 10 - August 10, 2011 / cost: $2,700 (plus airfare)
Summer Internship
The summer internship is an eight-week summer program in the capitol of Poland, Warsaw. You will live and work alongside DBMI staff members. The internship program gives you first hand experience of missions. When you come in as an intern, you will be a valuable team member of a church planting team. You will be involved in events and activities designed to help establish a local church. You will have an opportunity to research and develop a ministry of your choice and implement it in the context and culture of a missionary team and church environment. You will be a part of all weekly staff meetings. Along the way, the church planting team will share with you strategies and philosophies of church planting. There will be regular devotions for interns and instruction and training on discipleship. There will also be language study included in the internship.
While the work will be intense, you will also have off days so you can relax and enjoy the many activities Poland has to offer. There will also, of course, be times of informal fellowship with the internship team.
Above all else, Daystar wants you to be able to complete the internship having built a stronger walk with God. It is also our aim to give you the best possible internship experience, so that you can accurately assess if God is calling you into missions.
