The walls of the Dominican society are broken down because of poverty, political corruption and a disregard for the family unit resulting in man abandoned and neglected children.

The Lifehouse Ministry was started in 2000 because of the burden of Paula Hodges, a veteran missionary, to provide a loving and caring Christian home for children.
